Choosing a Roof Bike Rack

A roof bike rack is a great option for transporting your bikes on small cars and SUV's. There are two different types of roof bike racks, each with their own advantage.

Fork Mount Roof Bike Racks: Require removal of the front wheel, the front fork is clamped to the rack, and the rear wheel is secured by the wheel tray.

Wheel Mount Roof Bike Racks: Do not require removal of either wheel; the bike is secured to the rack's wheel tray by wheel or frame clamps.
