The Gooseneck adapter plugs into your vehicle's trailer hitch. It features a second hitch receiver welded above the normal hitch level to allow for additional vertical clearance. This piece is very handy when using a hitch mounted bike rack on a low-riding vehicle (sedans, smaller SUVs and Minivans).
