If your vehicle's factory roof rack has a track, chances are Yakima Control Towers shown on this page will be used to setup your Yakima base rack. If your vehicle's roof rack has siderails, there are a number of choices, including Yakima Locking EZ Rider and the Yakima LowRider. The Yakima Locking EZ Rider is used if you have a raised side rail or a flush-mounted side rail with an interior track, as this specialized tower system will grip these hard-to-fit side rails. The LowRider Tower will clamp on to simpler raised rack side rails, securing your base rack system. The LowRider Max is a version of the LowRider Tower that offers maximum grip on specialty rails on certain vehicles.
