Specialty Base Racks are designed to fit tricky vehicles. Often, the rails on factory roof racks can be oddly shaped or located in such a way that a normal Thule rail solution will not attach properly. Because this is a relatively common occurrence, Thule designed a line of Specialty Foot Packs that fit individual vehicles and allow an entire Thule roof rack system to be supported.

Thule Specialty Foot Packs are very similar to other Thule Foot Packs. They attach to the vehicle's railing and secure Thule load bars on each side of the vehicle. Once the Thule load bars in place, you can attach a Thule roof carrier, a Thule roof bike rack, a snow rack, and more!
