Hitch Cargo Carriers generally consist of a steel frame that inserts into your vehicle's trailer hitch and an enclosed, rectangular cargo box that provides storage space for your gear. Hitch Cargo Carriers provide waist-level access to your gear and come in many different models and styles. For example, there are swingaway styles that pivot away from your vehicle to allow for rear cargo area access, fixed frame styles that provide affordable storage space, and tilt down styles that pivot down and away from your to provide clearance.
