Yakima Crossbars

 

Yakima Crossbars should be used anytime you want to attach a Yakima carrier, bike rack, water rack or snow rack to you vehicle's roof.  Yakima's roof rack crossbars are round for maximum versatility so they will be compatible with any Yakima roof carrier, roof rack or basket rack that can attach to Yakima crossbars. 

 

How to use Yakima Crossbars:

 

Yakima Crossbars come in a set of two and will be attached to your vehicle in a way that best supports the total weight of your roof carrier, roof basket or roof rack.  Yakima Crossbars will run across the top of your vehicle, securing into your Yakima towers on the left and right side of your vehicle.  You will then mount your Yakima carrier or Yakima rack to the center of your Yakima Crossbars.

 

How to ensure a Proper Fit:
