The "Adventure System" is designed as an all-in-one cargo carrying solution. The way it works is simple: the system consists of three pieces: 1) a support that plugs into your vehicle's trailer hitch 2) a tray that can be used for hauling large, bulky items and 3) an enclosed, locking carrier box that attaches to the cargo tray and provides weather resistant protection for your gear. What kinds of ROLA Adventure Systems are there?
You can purchase the ROLA Adventure System in two different styles: a Swingaway frame style and a tilting frame style. The ROLA Swingaway Adventure System is similar to StowAway2 Swingaway Cargo Carriers in that its frame pivots away from your vehicle to allow full access to your rear cargo area. The tilting model is a unique design in that the carrier box can be removed and the tray can be folded up toward the vehicle for a lower-profile look when the carrier is not in use.

ROLA offers both a tilting and a Swingaway Cargo Carrier. We recommend a Swing Away Cargo Carrier if you:
